Joanna Sykes has been announced as the new creative director of Nicole Fahri, following her departure from Aquascutum in June, where she held the same role.

A graduate of Central Saint Martins, Sykes previously consulted at Giorgio Armani and was womenswear designer for Alberta Ferretti and Philosophy. Taking up her new position on September 1, Sykes's first collection will be autumn/winter 2013-14.
